Pumpkin Patch Adventure.

We finally made it down to the pumpkin patch last night. We had great fun. Rylie was excited from the beginning, while it took Reese a bit longer to warm up to the idea. Both boys picked out two baby pumpkins and Daddy got a big one which we will carve some time later this week. Once we got home Rylie noticed one of his baby pumpkins had a boo-boo. So first thing this morning we doctored him up and Rylie was comforted that his little pumpkin was "all better." It was a great family outing and a reminder that fall is on the way...surely!
Daddy surprised us all by promptly backing out of the driveway once we got home and bringing us to Braum's for ice cream (it's only a mile or so from our house...so not too much out of the way...and very worth it). I was more excited about the ice cream than the boys...thank you Daddy!
