Family Fun at the Fair.

My brother had the great idea for the two of us to treat my mom to a day at the fair for her birthday. It was the perfect idea because my mom is a Fair Fanatic. She loves the fair, almost as much as she loves her grandboys...and that's a lot, folks. After a few failed attempts, we finally made it out on the last day, which I believe set all time attendance records. (Duh!) Besides all the people and literary not being able to take a step at times, especially in the midway, it was a super fun day.
Cati and Braden set this one out, but they have a "big-kid-only" date scheduled coming in November, so they were cool about spending the day with their Papa.

"Water those peaches, boy!" This was part of the "little hands" area where all the kids learn, in a hands-on way, how to work a farm. It was really cute!

All the kids petting the sheep. Oh, wait...that's my mom. Well, if the shoe fits. And trust me...it does, especially while at the fair! He he.

Boris, the ugly pig, according to Rylie. Boris weighed over 1100 pounds! Yikes!

...mom making wardrobe adjustments in the car while driving to the fair...losing uncle matt before we found him...running a mile down the road to find uncle matt because he has no sense of direction...can you see the skyscrapers?...there's skyscrapers at the fair?...looking forward to finding the fried butter stand...eating fair corny dogs...the untied calf following me a little too closely...learning how to milk a cow...explaining to rylie what utters are...mom losing her phone...mom standing in line to sit in her dream car...mom finding her phone...mom riding all the kiddie/senior citizen rides with rylie...rylie riding his first roller coaster...rylie riding his first ride without an adult...watching reese eat cotton candy for the first time...and maybe the last...not being able to take a step, literary, because of the huge crowd in the midway...chocolate covered frozen cheesecake...finally finding the fried butter stand after i gave away all my coupons...running out of time before riding the big ferris wheel...
